Arsenal are to appoint Mikel Arteta as
their new manager, and Chelsea fans are once again left to be exasperated.
The Gunners have been looking for a replacement to Unai Emery since he was sacked on November 29.
In his place, Freddie Ljungberg has been in temporary charge, but now they are to take Manchester City number two Arteta to lead the club.
For Chelsea supporters, however, they are now doubt going to be wondering what they have done wrong to see another head coach come in to a team just before they play them.
It has already happened twice before to the Blues, and both times the 'managerial bounce' has had its effect and the Blues have gone on to lose.
The first was back in September when Valencia sacked their boss Marcelino and was replaced by Albert Celades, just days before the Champions League match with the Blues.
With the Spanish side going through some turmoil, their players picked up their game to win 1-0 at Stamford Bridge.
This week football.london are running a special series of articles looking back at the key moments from the last decade for Chelsea.
Each day, there will be three new articles; one in the morning, one at lunchtime and one in the evening.
Here are some of the best bits so far...
