Mikel Arteta is reportedly said his goodbyes to Manchester City players and staff members ahead of his proposed move to become Arsenal's new boss.
The Spaniard and Carlo Ancelotti have been heavily linked with the Gunners top job but the Italian seems to have settled for the Everton job.
Though nothing is official at the moment, Arteta was said to have agreed personal terms with the north London club earlier this week.

According to SunSport, the former midfielder would be confirmed as Arsenal's new boss on Friday despite reports of some senior players kicking against the move.
Arteta, who has been instrumental to City's success in the last three and a half years would be expected to help the Gunners finish strong at the end of the season.
The publication reports that Arsenal deliberately delayed Freddie Ljungberg's conference by 24 hours to allow Arteta's arrival at the club.
Meanwhile, Arteta is expected to sign a three-and-a-half-year contract worth £5million-per-season once he arrives at the club.
The 37-year-old spent five seasons at the Emirates Stadium before retiring from active football to kick off his coaching career at Man City.
Since teaming up with Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium, Arteta has been involved in their success in the last two seasons.
The Citizens became the first English team to win a domestic treble at the end of the 2018-19 season.
The Gunners are in search of Unai Emery's permanent replacement, days after the Spaniard was handed marching orders following a string of poor results.
Arteta, who spent five years at the Emirates is now said to be on the verge of taking over at the North London club having agreed a £5million-a-year contract to take over.
