Hazard and Mourinho
nominated for world
awards
Eden Hazard has been nominated for the
Ballon D’Or, while Jose Mourinho is on
the 10-man shortlist for the FIFA World
Coach of the Year award.
Hazard, who won both the Football Writers’
and PFA Player of the Year awards last
season, as well as the Chelsea Player of the
Year for the second successive campaign, is
among 23 players from around the world listed
for football’s biggest individual prize.
Mourinho won the inaugural Coach of the Year
award in 2010, and is once again nominated.
Former Blues Arjen Robben, Kevin De Bruyne
and Carlo Ancelotti are also shortlisted in their
respective fields.
