A woman is sounding a note of warning to other women by narrating an experience she had when she tried to treat a vaginal infection by herself.
@TheStorybabe said she was a Unilag undergraduate the first time she had a yeast infection. Having overheard women discussing the hot water treatment for yeast infection, she decided to try it.
But it didn't end well for her. She said her bum ended up getting burnt as the bucket broke under her weight and she fell into the hot water.
She ended up in the Unilag Medical Centre and it was all the more embarrassing when the female doctor on duty expressed disappoinment that someone educated could try such.
She ended her narration with the words, "Do I need to tell you not to be like me when you grow up?"
