N30,000 minimum wage. Governor Muhammad Abdullahi Abubukar made the announcement in Bauchi Wednesday during the celebration of this year’s Workers’ Day. Abubakar, who was represented by the Head of Civil Service, Adamu Gokaru, said the committee would work out modalities for effective implementation of the policy. ADVERTISEMENT Benue State Deputy Governor Benson Abounu also the state government was in agreement to pay the new national minimum wage of N30,000 as recently assented to by the Federal Government. Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State said his administration would give the newly approved N30,000 minimum wage the necessary attention.
