Alexis Ohanian addressed his feelings about being referred to as "Serena's husband" though he's a successful entrepreneur in his own right (read here) and a lot of people have been reacting to it, including socio-economic commentator, Japhet Omojuwa.
Alexis said he doesn't mind being labelled Serena's husband because he knows she has more recognition than him. He also said it's "pretty liberating" and he enjoys "not being the public-facing partner" in his marriage.
Reacting to Ohanian's tweet, Omojuwa said:
This is what it means to be “liberated” as a man. To find comfort, confidence and assurance in the glory of your partner and not be shrunk by it...to see her as one with you rather than as competition or one you must beat...this is what liberation means to me, JJ. Omojuwa! ???
