Chelsea news: I can’t understand why Bakayoko plays ahead of these two stars

Chelsea news: Tiemoue Bakayoko should not start for Antonio Conte's side, says Wright

CHELSEA midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko does not deserve a starting spot in Antonio Conte’s Blues team.

That is the view of BBC Sport pundit and former Arsenal striker Ian Wright.
Bakayoko joined Chelsea from Monaco for £40million in the summer as a direct replacement for Nemanja Matic, who left for Manchester United.
Chelsea fans have taken to the Frenchman, already creating their own chant for him.
But Wright is still not sure he has what it takes to be a regular starter under Conte.

He says he cannot understand why the likes of Willian and Pedro are often benched while Bakayoko starts.
That is despite the duo not playing in the same position as the 23-year-old.
“Just a quick one on Bakayoko, because I have to get it out otherwise I’ll forget,” Wright said on BBC Radio 5 Live.
“I’m not having him yet, I’m sorry.

“I can’t understand how he can get in the team before Willian and Pedro at the moment.
“Especially when he played further forward.
“I need to see a lot more from him, that’s all I’m saying.”
