In reality we humans tend to have people we respect because of their attributes or what they have achieved in life. At times their success motivates and inspire us alot. In many cases we might never meet this people but we get to learn from them through different means. I have a model and honestly I read most of his write-ups and also share this knowledge on my blog. I did my primary school at Monika Kindergarten, and my secondary school at Federal Government, Ikot Ekpene. As you can tell, very much a small town upbringing.
After that, I moved to Germany to attend University. It was an interesting experience, but after many years in Germany, I decided that I prefer to live in Nigeria.
So I moved back to Nigeria and founded Hotels.ng, the first startup to directly address the African hotel booking market.

Mark Essien is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria-based Hotels.ng, an online hotel booking agency which is the first and largest of its kind in Nigeria.
Since establishing Hotels.ng in 2013, Mark has overseen the growth of hotel listings on the platform from just over 100 at launch to over 7,000 hotels in 21 regions of Nigeria with millions of transactions in 2014 alone.
