DAKKADA MANTRA

From time immemorial, societies have been known to develop on  certain ideological psyche .This could be seen in developed nations like south Korea, united Arab Emirates, Singapore and Malaysia.
      Societal re-orientation could be spur up by certain mystical formula of invocation or incantation not necessarily voodooist in nature. Akwa Abasi Ibom State by divine providence happened to be named after the almighty.
     Created on 23 September 1987,the story and destiny of this great entity had to be forged through the traitorous and torturous fire of ethnic and tribal politics of a diverse nation. From the days of Akpan isemin battle with the etok etok syndrome to the housemaids era which saw the emergence of a man that had the mantle to destroy such trait. Herald by the Akwa ibom ayaya, ado oke mantra through deep fight to conquer the forces that would be, Udom Gabriel Emmanuel emerged. The foundation has been laid, his responsibility is to raise the house to its finished status. This SOLUS RESPONSUM has led him to the DAKKADA mantra which means rise.
In Governor Udom words, he said, Akwa ibomites rise to the faith of greatness
Rise to the faith that with God all things are possible
Rise to the faith that as a people we can move beyond bias, ethnicity, religion and gender
Rise to togetherness
Rise to chart a new course for us, our children and a generation of Akwa Ibomites unborn
Hold fast the confession of our hope that without wavering, for he who promised is faithful
Arise to the faith that Akwa Ibom was created to be great.
