All That You Don’t Know
All That You Don’t Know
SEP 08, 2013
You don’t work with people that are much smarter than you for very long. What I mean is this — when there is a bunch of smart people interacting, after a while, their opinions will start aligning. They may disagree often, but their general philosophies will become the same. They develop a way of thinking that makes them focus their smartness within a certain worldview. These smart people forget that there are people as smart as them who are approaching problems from a different angle entirely. They do not even know that other angle exists. They need to meet those people to be able to break out of the box and take the jump to the next level. If they are not set up in a way that introduces them to these other people, even though they are mega smart, they may never be introduced to that philosophy that would have made all the difference.
